The team is incredible this year plus they've dominated since 2015. Germany, England, France, and Spain are all pumped up and could possibly cause an upset.

Women can score... Hopefully, you've seen Sabrina Ionescu score 37/40 PTS and set the record for NBA or WNBA in the #Starry3PT Contest. The previous record for NBA was 31/40 PTS by Stephen Curry in 2021 and Tyrese Haliburton in 2023. She didn't beat it by a point or two, but six! Maybe WNBA struggles to grab your attention because the women are so good, they make it difficult to score on each other. Or less flopping drama.

Women's sports are just as tough and badass as men's sports. If you've not given it a true chance, try watching it again. They play their hearts out and there's nothing delicate about it. Women's sports still receive much stigma and bias. You're not a true sports fan unless you watch both varieties.
With continued support and coverage, Women's sport can gain the recognition it deserves. Increased visibility inspires people, increases participation, and gets kids involved. The hope of many athletes is to move away from classifying sport by gender, but for sport to simply be sport. SPORT IS SPORT.
