Caitlin Clark Breaks NCAA Women's Basketball Record Score & Personal Record

During Thursday's Iowa vs. Michigan game, Caitlin Clark broke the all-time career score record with 3,569 points. She surpassed the previous record holder, Kelsey Plum, who held the title from 2013-17 with 3,527 career points in 139 games at Washington.

Clark needed eight points on Thursday to break the record. She accomplished that in her 126th game against Michigan. The record-breaking shot was scored against the Wolverines, early in the first quarter.


Clark scored the perfect shot, a 3-pointer dropped in from beyond the logo. Her third bucket and eighth point in the game drilled in to make history

Additionally, Clark crushed her career-high score of 46 points late in the fourth quarter. She pulled a 3-pointer in the last few minutes to accomplish a new personal record of 49 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists. She led Iowa with a final winning score of 106-89.
