Green Bay beat the Chiefs 27-19 yesterday. It was a brutal defeat that even the Taylor "Swift Effect" couldn't overcome. Hats off to Jordan Love and his 3 TD passes. The controversial game with a disputable call and no-call sure made things interesting. The Packers are now 6-6 and move into the NFC playoff position. If the Chiefs won, they would have secured the no. 1 AFC spot. But alas, the loss pushed them to 8-4 and they dropped down to no. 3, behind Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens.
While the Chiefs faced a rough loss, the Swift girl gang is growing. If you notice, Taylor Swift and Chiefs tight end Blake Bell's wife Lyndsay were twinning in black outfits and red teddy bear coats. Brittany Mahomes wore a black and red varsity jacket, red top, and black leather pants. Apparently the three ladies got together earlier this month when Swift held a viewing party of her Eras Tour movie for Brittany, Lyndsay, plus Shane Buechele's wife Paige Buechele.
Side note- It looks like we weren't wrong when we said "Red would be trending this fall/winter."
Brittany wore something similar as shown on her Instagram on 11/6/2022 (while pregnant with her son, Bronze). Curious, why didn't Brittany wear her red coat to match the other two? Clearly, she has one. Many fans theorize that Taylor borrowed the coat from Brittany.

Red coat aside, we were spot on with our Taylor and Brittany becoming BESTIES prediction. Besides Brittany and Taylor's BFForever secret handshake, multiple girls nights out, Swift and Kelce spent time visiting the Mahomes home last week while Swift has been on her Eras Tour hiatus.
